‘I feel 25,’ says Shah Rukh on 44th birthday

 Mumbai, Nov 2 (IANS) Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan turned 44 Monday, but said he still feels just 25 - barring the physical problems he has had in the past year. The heartthrob also said he wants to work for youngsters and underprivileged girls. “I have been in my 40s since a few years now and I gracefully accept the age. But honestly, I feel like I am just 25 or 26 except for the physical problems I’ve had in my past year,” Shah Rukh told reporters here. “Maybe I look older, but then when I look younger, people say I get plastic surgeries done to my face. When I look old, they say I am over and done with. But the fact is that when I sleep well, I look young and when I don’t get enough sleep, I look old,” he quipped. The actor underwent an arthroscopic surgery for acute pain in his left shoulder here in February and was on a forced break to recuperate completely. Bollywood's Badshah Shah Rukh Khan celebrates his 44 on Monday. SRK greeted his fans from his terrace in the early morning as hundreds of his fans gathered outside his house 'Mannat' to greet him. The crowd went mad just as Shah Rukh came to the terrace, and waved to his fans and blew kisses in his trade mark style. His fan's presence proved that even after so many years Khan has neither lost the charm nor his fan following. On the eve of his birthday, SRK flagged off the Great Delhi Run with Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit.

Ranbir replaces SRK as YRF's favourite actor

Yash Raj Films seems to have found their next superstar after Shahrukh Khan in Ranbir Kapoor. The Kapoor scion who has starred in Bachna Ae Haseeno and the forthcoming Rocket Singh Salesman of the Year will be now seen in a movie directed by the exclusive Aditya Chopra. What's making news is Aditya took this decision after his favourite actor Shahrukh Khan was unable to give him dates for the next two years. Aditya who had directed Shahrukh in Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Mohabbatein and Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi was keen on working with him for the movie Dhoom 3. Shahrukh who is busy with Farhan Akhtar for his Don 2 and Farah Khan directed Happy New Year could not give Aditya any dates till 2011 end. Mumbai, Oct.17 : Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan walked the ramp with his wife Gauri Khan for the grand finale show of director-turned-designer Karan Johar at the HDIL India Couture Week, hosted in Mumbai on Friday. HDIL (Housing Development and Infrastructure Limited) is one of the premier real estate developers in India. Bollywood director-turned designer Karan Johar along with Varun Bahl launched their men's clothing line which they showcased at the grand finale. With 'Rock Star' being the theme of the show, the philosophy of the clothes was formal and sophisticated with a modern yet understated tone of Glamour. Both Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan were roped in as the showstoppers for the eve.
