Differences with Salman won't be resolved publicly: SRK

Image
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan says his longstanding disagreements with Salman Khan will not come to an end courtesy a film, a filmmaker or an actress. And neither would it be on a public platform. The two Bollywood icons, who did films like Karan Arjun and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai  together, had a major fight in 2008 at Salman's then girlfriend, Katrina Kaif's birthday bash. Even as Katrina hopes to produce a movie featuring Shah Rukh and Salman, SRK says it's not going to happen - not at anyone's behest. "My thing is that we had a little bit of personal issue. This is not the first time. It was four years ago and it had been before. We (Salman) have been very close for 20 years and even more. From the time I came, I respect his family and the fact that they gave me so much of love. I can never be disrespectful about that. Having said that, we have grown together." "We have certain things similar and certain things which we completely disagree on...

After 24 years , Shah Rukh Khan again charms fans as army man

Image
New Delhi:  For Shah Rukh Khan, life seems to have come full circle just before he completes the silver jubilee of his career in acting and showbiz. In 1988, his powerful portrayal of Commando Abhimanyu Rai in the TV series "Fauji" virtually launched his acting career and made him a popular face throughout the country. And now his role as army man Samar in Yash Chopra's yet untitled film has stirred a buzz. "When Shah Rukh Khan goes back to his roots, his 'Fauji' days, wears a uniform and then there's a combination of a love story, produced by (Yash Raj Films), the house of romance, directed by Yash Chopra himself, the film is bound to create buzz," film critic Omar Qureshi, told IANS. At 46, the superstar doesn't just paint a perfect, military print uniform-clad, intense look but also reflects his fit, powerful and impactful demeanour through the first few looks of the movie, which will release Nov 13. Salman Khan finally ends his fight with Shahrukh Khan!

Image
Mumbai: It looks like Kabir Khan's  Ek Tha Tiger's success has brought some good news for bothSalman Khan and Shahrukh Khan fans. A while ago, Katrina Kaif had said that both the Khans have now moved on. Well, that wasn't just a mere statement. It is true that Shahrukh and Salman are no longer enemies. During a latest interview with the Zoom TV, Salman said that he has forgotten his enmity with Shahrukh and has moved on. "There was a time when Shahrukh and I never got along well, in fact, we don't get along now either.. It's not that there's any enmity. Whatever happened in the past is all forgotten. More than us, people have hyped our relationship. We are not in a boxing ring, we are mature people. He should beat me with his work and I should beat him with my work." Well, we wonder, how this miracle happened! There was a time when the duo would never leave a chance to pounce on each other for whatever may be the reason, and today, it's a c...

Shahrukh Khan’s baggage arrives in Berlin, King to attend DON 2 premiere at Berlinale

Image
SHAHRUKH KHAN This is the latest on Shahrukh Khan and the 62nd Berlinale saga. In the DON 2 press conference it was announced that the King’s baggage had already arrived at the Berlin airport, which should be taken as an indication that the King would also be in Berlin very soon. He has very few options left. SRK cannot disappoint his fans here. The poor turnout of journalists at DON 2 press conference is a clear proof that Berlin is King Khan’s territory. If he does not show up, nobody else will, neither his fans nor the world media. They don’t much care for his advance guard and nothing less than the king’s presence will bring cheer to th...

I’ll destroy you, SRK said to Shirish Kunder

Concerned Sallu calls up Shirish Kunder after SRK bashes up his director friend He may be shooting thousands of miles away in Cuba but the aura of Salman Khan was presiding over the most interesting maar-dhaad in recent memory. On Monday morning, at a suburban night club where Sanjay Dutt had thrown a party to celebrate the success of his new film, Shah Rukh Khan bashed up an inebriated Shirish Kunder for misbehaving with him. And for good measure, Sanjay Dutt too slapped the director who was as high as a kite, and clearly overestimated his physical prowess. So where does Sallu come into the picture? Film editor and director Kunder who is married to Farah Khan is a known Salman acolyte and after the famous falling out between Salman and Shah Rukh, has vocally showed his support for the former. After RA.One's lukewarm reception he had tweeted, "I just heard a 150 crore firework fizzle." Kunder was also the reason for the end of the SRK-Farah Khan fri...

Bollywood Superstar Shahrukh Khan and his wife Gauri Khan have for the first time teamed up together to endorse D’Decor, the world’s third largest furnishing company, as its brand ambassadors. ‘I feel very humble and happy when any company signs me as their brand ambassador and so I am very happy to be part of D’Decor,’ Shahrukh told reporters at the Taj Lands End Hotel where he and his wife were officially declared the brand ambassadors. Gauri, who was also present, said: ‘I haven’t worked so hard ever, so after working for two long days, I slept last two days. It was a fantastic experience.’ Shahrukh, like a sweet and protective husband, made sure Gauri was comfortable. He helped Gauri in the slightest of things like holding the microphone properly so that the media could hear whatever little she had to say. Ajay Arora, managing director of D’Decor, decided to sign them as brand ambassadors because he felt they were the best examples of perfect homemakers. ‘We t...
